At Agape Dentist, we provide traditional dental implants and Diem® 2 for patients in Woburn, Massachusetts and the surrounding communities. Before dental implants, dentures were the only way to replace missing teeth. You are now able to receive dental implants, which are a synthetic structure that is placed in the area of the jaw normally occupied by a tooth root. The dental implant is anchored to the jaw or metal framework on the bone and acts as a foundation for an artificial tooth or permanent bridge.
To receive a permanent tooth replacement, surgery is necessary. At the time, Dr. Massabni prepares the area. Following the procedure, a period is required for the implant to take hold and for bone tissue to build up and anchor it. Sometimes, metal posts are inserted into the implant during a follow-up procedure to connect the tooth. Before treatment, patients are administered anesthesia. Following surgery, Dr. Massabni prescribes an antibiotic if necessary.
It is important to keep the implant clean and healthy following the procedure. Dr. Massabni will give you specific individual instructions. If you ever have any questions, we welcome you to contact our office.
Before treatment, we ensure that you are a good candidate for a dental implant. To be, you must have proper bone density and a strong immune system. Dental implants always require strict oral hygiene. We are happy to sit down with you during a private consultation and speak to you more about a permanent tooth replacement.
We are proud to assist patients from Woburn, Winchester, Stoneham, Burlington, Wakefield, and the surrounding areas. Our practice is in the heart of Woburn, Massachusetts. We love assisting patients who receive a smile that they can be proud of.
